This is one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I was able to get in for a same-day appointment and the check-in process was extremely easy. Ms. Lucy was amazing at relieving a lot of tension and knots around my entire body.
I called about an hour beforehand and I was able to get in same day. That's ideal for me because you never know when you'll be sore. It was a very deep massage as requested. I think it's a great value and I will go back . I would say it has elements of a thai massage which isn't easy to find.
I am new to the city and wanted something to get out my knots from the last few months. Asian massage does a great job in ensuring your body is less tense and knots free. The place is simple but comfortable and calming.
Hit or miss sometimes, but for the price, I take my chances. It’s important to remember who took care of you the way you liked. I enjoyed Lisa. She was responsive to my needs and suggested some additional service (head/scalp massage).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
