From the reviews

Kind receptionist, free water and tea, although never enough time in the waiting room to enjoy it, not a bad thing since they don't make you wait. As for Jen: 10/10 recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for an ACTUAL deep tissue massage.

Ashi Bar is a treasure! I recently found this place after living here 7 years, and I am slowly making my way through all their services. My first massage with Jessica put my sciatica in the best condition of my life! Next I tried a relfexology with Kalisee and it was the most soothing relaxing experience.

WOW what a treat. My wife and I were in town and weary from travel so I booked a deep tissue/hot stone couples massage. The ambiance was so amazing and relaxing and the staff went above and beyond serving people. Katie was so intuitive in working on my achy body, she was dynamic and very skilled.

This place is amazing. Rebecca was simply the best. My husband said he has never had a better one. She was so kind and understand just what the body needs. Jared worked on me and it was the best massage I have ever had. If I could have got in the next day I would have! You need to go! Simply the best!!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
