I can’t even put into words how incredible the experience at this salon is, but I will try! Walking into the space took my breath away. It is the perfect space for relieving anxieties, and feeling truly safe and welcome.
My friends and I came for head spa treatments. From the moment we walked in everyone was so nice and welcoming. Fran did my treatment and was lovely! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that I almost fell asleep!
Absolutely amazing experience at Artemis Ethos! Ashley and Caitlin took excellent care of my sister and I. It was our first time here, and it will not be our last. They were both gentle and patient. We did the headspa and scalp treatment and love how our hair looks and feels.
There is not enough amazing things I can say about this place. Immediately the vibe is so welcoming and inviting. Everyone in there is so sweet. I’ve gotten my hair done by Ashley and she helped repair my hair. She is incredible and knew exactly what I wanted. I recommend everyone come here!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
