From the reviews
Brooke has been a godsend. She has a calming presence and truly listens to your concerns and how you’re doing. Each time I go, she meets me where I’m at for that moment. The Acupunture and cupping treatments have been a game-changer for my post op knee and headaches.
I cannot sing enough praise about Brooke and her amazing team! she is MAGIC and a powerful and gifted healer - not only is she highly trained and experienced at her craft, she is also deeply intuitive, and takes the time to truly listen to you and be fully present with you.
Dr Brooke is the most invested and kind medical professional I've ever worked with. She listens and thinks through what the best treatment route is for you. Don't hesitate and deal with whatever injury/pain you're dealing with, she absolutely will help you get back to your favorite activities.
I almost don’t have the words to explain how rewarding, comforting, transformative, enriching, and enlightening my experience has been at Aqua Terra. Dr. Brooke has been a steadfast guide in a truly inspiring journey of self growth and healing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
