From the reviews
10/10 ⭐️ It is Bakersfield’s hidden gem, an oasis for relaxation and pain relief 😊 I have been going to this place twice a month for over a year and it is THE MOST relaxing and pain relieving experience I’ve ever encountered.
A friend referred me to Apricot Acupuncture years ago, and finally, I found authentic acupuncture in town. I have gone to her for many years and my acupuncturist, Lucia has always helped me. Some occasional debilitating pains that came up for me were instantly alleviated with my acupuncture sessions.
Sierra is great. She is very gentle and answered every question I have. This is my third treatment and I can feel results. This has done more for me than a chiropractor.
Tomorrow will be about my 12 or 13th time & I never had to wait I show up and go strait in. I never been anywhere else for acupuncture so I cant compare my experience to others. The lady the sees me is very sweet & very nice.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
