I have visited Annie's Healthcare Massage multiple times and I always leave more relaxed. The facility is clean and the prices are affordable. I have had massages from Tina and Owen and both were great. This last time I came in with a headache, I let Owen know and he massaged my neck and upper back very well.
I had the acupressure aromatherapy massage and it worked wonders for the areas where I experience chronic pain. Tina was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. It is clear that she knows what she is doing. The entire space was decorated elegantly. It was clean and comfortable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
