From the reviews
This was my 3rd time receiving a massage from Annie and it was just as great of an experience as my first! She pays special attention to the areas that need it most. I tried a cupping massage this time around and have felt amazing ever since, my lower back pain is not as prevalent as it has been.
I cannot say enough good things about Annie and her massage services! I used to think a massage was just an occasional treat for myself for relaxation. But by seeing Annie on a regular basis she has really helped me to see the enormous therapeutic benefits as well.
I was new to the area & googled 5 star message therapists in Prior Lake, and Annie’s name came up. Based on her reviews, I made an appointment. That was seven months ago, and I am so glad I met Annie. She is an amazing therapist. She works on the aches, pains & kinks in my neck, back & arms.
100% loved the warm welcoming setting, Annie’s personally, her great smile and greeting as I entered her office. Annie’s massage style, technique, pressure, all exactly what I wanted! She was spot on in what I expect when having a therapeutic massage!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
