From the reviews
Dr Yoo Sung is wonderful! She has turned my life around! I went to her with joint, muscle, back, neck, and intestinal afflictions. Pain was my standard, since I was not able to tolerate pain medication. I found her very knowledgeable and exceptionally skilled.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sung since January 2022. I’m 55 years old and suffered with neuropathy in both feet for several years. So bad was the pain, burning, numbness & aggravation that life had become nearly unbearable.
Dr. Sung is absolutely a miracle worker. After a disabling back injury. She has helped me manage my chronic pain from a level 10 to around a level 7 or 6 with twice a week acupture. My injury is still healing. So I expect even better results in time.
I suffer from chronic back pain. I was referred by a friend who highly recommended Dr Sung. The first treatment brought relief and after a few visits I was amazed at the results! Very clean, professional environment. I am amazed that acupuncture is so effective on a wide variety of physical and other issues.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
