…I’ve done traditional massages, hot stone massages, cupping, and recently been introduced to Thai herbal compresses which are my new favorite. They smell amazing and have very beneficial anti inflammatory properties that take the relaxation to an entirely new level.
I have been going to Amber for about 5 years and she is wonderful! She will intuitively know what your body needs and will make sure to apply the correct pressure while doing it. Many times I have fallen asleep on her table, she puts me into such a calm relaxed state.
If you're going back and forth on booking an appointment: JUST DO IT. I'm always in a lot of pain due to my job and today was especially bad. I haven't seen Amber in a while and I can always feel the difference. I walked in today so sore and I left feeling like I was on cloud 9.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
