From the reviews
A friend noticed knee pain I was having and recommended her physical therapist (Todd) at the center. I had already had an MRI scheduled a week following to show my chiropractor, but thought I would give physical therapy a try to see what Todd‘s evaluation might bring to light.
I am so very thankful my PCP recommended the Physical Therapy Center in Monroe, NC! Because of a brain injury and surgery three years ago, my imbalance and dizziness have gotten worse…and certainly are affecting my everyday life. What a blessing these people are.
Recently had my 2nd knee replacement and returned to the PT Center after they helped me with my 1st knee replacement 6 years ago. Same great experience and recovered quickly with their very professional and friendly help and atmosphere. Virginia Thomas was awesome! Todd and his entire staff are great!
Moving from discomfort to comfort. I am a very active 57 year old male who underwent hernia repair with mesh in 2017. The repair worked, however I was left with extreme pain when I was trying to enjoy my usual activities: running, tennis, golf, mountain biking, and working out at the YMCA.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
