From the reviews
Outstanding Physical Therapy Care – Highly Recommend! I can’t say enough good things about the team at this physical therapy practice. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care.
Mark and Mike are amazing. Mark has helped me so much with my back. I've gone to your traditional physical therapy before but after coming here, I won't be going anywhere else. Here you actually get one on one help, with progress!!
I was welcomed into the practice with a comprehensive evaluation by Mark, and then began work with Matthias to correct lower back pain. I found that Matthias met me in my current state of my body and then slowly and great caring helped me solve the issues of lower back pain.
I have suffered with back issues for years and I’ve been to physical therapy in the past But Alternatives in physical therapy was a completely different experience. I felt they really took the time to find out exactly where your issue was and how to make it better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
