After 20+ years of competitive cycling at the highest level, my knees and joints have seen their fair share of abuse. Signs of wear and tear are evident. I was dealing with some tendonitis issues when I went to Morgan.
Dr Morgan is a wonderful & knowledgeable acupuncturist - he knows exactly which points to use to attain optimal results. He also uses glass fire cups, which is rare around here, and I absolutely love. I always look forward to my sessions and the way I feel afterwards!
Originally, I was looking for acupuncture for my husband. Morgan came highly recommended, so I made an appointment for my husband. He came home and said “having a true acupuncturist again is amazing!” After a few weeks with crazy muscle spasms, anxiety and stress, I bit the bullet and made an appointment.
Dr. Morgan was amazing! I felt the improvement after the first visit. After the second and last visit, I'm 90% Pain free and improving every day. I will definitely recommend Dr. Morgan to anyone I know who is in need of any kind of Paint Relief. BTW...
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
