34 Year old who has been struggling with back/neck/stomach pain for 3 whole years... (Due to a car accident) Do not settle... If you go to a place like I did... And just go through the motions but don't see any results, you probably won't get any better.
If you need PT this IS the place to go. It is clean and friendly and Brett Morgan and his professional and courteous staff are there for all your needs and Brett is a true taskmaster and follows through on all your progress and ensure that he is seeing improvement.
Stephanie was my therapist between hip surgeries. Her skillset with the Graston technique is exemplar, as well as the integrated physical therapy care she provides. Stephanie is very thorough in her evaluation while being personable. She is truly adept in her profession.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
