What clients say about the cupping here
“You are always greeted with a smile, the office is beautiful and peaceful, and I always feel so much better after having treatments.”
From the reviews
This center literally saved my life! I had suffered with severe Crohn’s Disease symptoms and was in and out of the hospital numerous times a year. I was referred to Leta Herman and, no joke, I was eating a whole breakfast the next morning! My family was amazed as they pointed this out.
My son is on the spectrum. His behaviors were dark and his soul just seemed to be losing its spark. When I found Leta I was desperate. No amount of exercise , social skills or love could reach him.
I have been a client of the Alchemy Healing Center for many years now. You are always greeted with a smile, the office is beautiful and peaceful, and I always feel so much better after having treatments. Most recently I participated in the "Master Alchemy Program", led by Leta and Jaye.
This clinic is one of the great gems of Northampton. I've had many treatments here and they are truly life changing, not only because they work but because the practitioners are phenomenal people.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
