From the reviews
I've been coming since 2009 and I come about 35 to 40 times each year. Originally diagnosed to only have about a year and a half of life left and it's 2023 and I'm still here and I'm still doing everything that I was doing before and what the Western medicine could not do acupuncture took care of me and as I said I'm…
I had previously seen my doctor for peripheral vertigo and tinnitus. And she recommended acupuncture. It was my first time ever trying acupuncture and I was a little nervous but Dr. Tseng was very helpful I making me comfortable. I appreciate all the kindness he showed during my visit.
I am very fearful of needles and never had acupuncture before now. I absolutely love this place! The entire staff is so wonderful. Dr Luo is amazing with his skills and has helped me so very much. Everyone is so kind and understanding. I highly recommend Alamo Acupuncture for natural healing and pain relief.
Bill is great! He changed my life. 20 years ago I was an 18 year old girl with trigger points so bad I couldn't take a deep breath. After I had exceeded the allowed number of cortisone for a year in just 5 months I thought I was doomed to a lifetime of pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
