From the reviews
The staff at AIM in Batavia deserves a 10+ star rating!!!! I have been blessed to work with Rob and Kathy but everyone is genuinely caring and delighted to see your progress.
The therapists at AIM PT have taken care of me after several surgeries over the years. They are first and foremost really nice people! They listen, motivate, push, and just don't give up on you! Bambi Penney has been my go-to PT, but I've been treated by many of the others over the years as well.
I was extremely impressed with all the personnel at AIM, especially PT Kelly Knox who I had seen first, and then my mainstay PT Kathy Clark who I had seen for about 90% of the time. Both were exceptional physical therapist who I would highly recommend for anyone in need of any PT. Kathy is just over the top.
Thoughtful and complete care in rehab after an acute injury or just with chronic pain issues. Highly recommend checking out AIM if you are in need of a physical therapist!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
