I love this place; the only place I go for massages. Lupe + Nancy are great. Just be aware by the time you get in the room and everything gets started it's about 45-50 minutes of actual massage time. This is not uncommon for massages in general and the rates are very fair for the time.
So my 2 massages would be a 5!! Being fitted in last minute for a 2 hour massage both times even better. I'm always going and hate planning. So this is perfect. Chiefs kiss. However, paying before a massage? The second massage, I was told to pay before hand?
My husband and I have been wanting to get in here for awhile. We always have to check in for availability because our schedules are not very easy to work with. We made our first reservation and made it in today for a couples massage. We had Paige and Jessica.
Brandon was great and offered perfect pressure while working on my problem areas. The room we were in (couples massage) was a bit small for both tables and both providers to have ample room to move about, but they made it work. Lupe worked on my husband and he was very happy with his massage as well.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
