I love it here! After having my second child 17 years ago I became allergic to being in the sun. Allergists after allergists couldn’t figure out why and my only recommendation after thousands of dollars spent was to stay out of the sun and wear spf 85.
Such a nice place to be. The pain in my neck and lower back were both treated recently. The docs truly care. The couple is both very attentive and know what they are doing. The herbal medicinal cabinet is impressive.
Both Vickie and John are amazing. They make you feel so comfortable. I had shoulder pain that left very little range of motion. I now can raise it completely above my head, and can now tuck in my shirts! They have helped tremendously with my low back/hip pain and anxiety too.
It’s only been my second visit so far but I am very pleased. Vicki is so informative on the 1st session. She answered all my questions beyond my satisfaction. She was so thorough that she asked me questions more helpful for my treatment. She is so attentive.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
