From the reviews
When Dr. Fray had retired I didn't want to go back to this location I just stuffed with the pain I went to another Chiropractor it was ok. One day my body decided for me that I needed to get in to see someone and I needed someone closer to home, so I decided to give this place a try and OMG it was the best decision…
I had an excellent experience at Advanced Sports and Family Chiropractic & Acupuncture. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. The team is professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to really listen to what’s going on with your body instead of rushing you through.
I was having unbearable back pain before I visited. Lifelong backpain. It was crippling my daily life. After about 4 weeks of seeing Dr. Denton my pain started to become almost unnoticeable. The staff is also very friendly, they have free coffee, and provide a while slew of services for a fair price.
I think I had good care. Dr. Ruebke seemed to really want to help me get well. I appreciate the fact that she examined me and took x-rays before trying to manulipulate my back. I feel like the cost was fair for the service I received. I've been having wrist and hand problems. Which now went to my neck and shoulder.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
