For almost 4 years I have been going to this place for my knee issues. The whole staff are highly commendable for their great service. They are caring, friendly and well-trained. Led by Dr. Neha owner/ Director of Rehab, she is professional and very knowledgeable.
Advanced Care Physical Therapy has been a GRATIFYING SUCCESS for us. My wife (80) and myself (81) are very familiar with the best PT/OT practices in NYC (Mount Sinai & NYU Rusk) and large well known practices in NJ. She's had a chronic left shoulder problem for 3 years.
This has been a wonderful experience for me. I needed physical therapy because of sciatica. I did not know what to expect and I was afraid of hurting more than I already did. In my intake consultation I was reassured and given clear information about the treatment I would be receiving.
As of this writing, I have completed (7) out of (12) prescribed physiotherapy sessions to treat my sprained right ankle. I am extremely satisfied with each and every staff members.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
