From the reviews

Acupuncture has helped me incredibly with my stress and anxiety. I have quite the high stress job and it has gotten worse over the years. Although I've only been seeing Dr yang for 3-4 weeks, I have seen tremendous results in my stress and anxiety levels.

Went to Dr Yang in excruciating pain. Couldn’t even sleep the night before I visited him, I was that much pain. Visit Dr Yang was instant relief. After my 2nd visit with Dr Yang i was 100% pain free. But the biggest question is, what was the source of such unbearable pain?

I decided to drop by Acupuncture Wellness Houston due to raving reviews from a close friend. I was looking for relief from vertigo and couldn't find any help from other western doctors and just kept adding up expenses.

★★★★★ — Karmela, Aug 2019

Dr. Yang is a great doctor who has really helped me with my knee pain. My tendinitis acts up and is in alot of pain after tearing my ACL. Getting acupuncture helps relieve the pain and my joints feel much better. Big thanks to Dr. Yang for treating my knees for the past for months!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
