What clients say about the cupping here
“I leave his office feeling calm, peaceful and not hurting.”
From the reviews
Where to start, Dr Evans is someone who you can explain your pain to and his wisdom and expertise take over from there. I have been to many specialists due to my career and he is someone I cannot speak highly enough about….his gift is truly remarkable
Just amazing. A caring doctor who can be counted on to address your needs and more. His ultimate goal is to ensure our good health, thus our quality of life.
I liked Dr. Evans bedside manner and his helpfulness to a friend who accompanied me. I would go again if my lower back pain acted up again.
Dr. Evans is a wonderful acupuncturist. I leave his office feeling calm, peaceful and not hurting.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
