From the reviews

Honestly, I went into the experience very cynical and doubtful that accupuncture could provide any type of relief for the severe pain that I was feeling due to an injury on the ligament behind my knee. I could not bend my leg and had to walk with the support of a cane.

I have a lower back shooting pain for 2 days, and I finally came across on Google Dr. Moy, and I went to see him the following day after my work, the acupuncture, cupping relief my lower back shooting pain, after just 1 secession, I felt so much better. And now I felt like my lower back pain is gone.

Michael is the real deal. I had major back pain issues for a while. The pain was excruciating when my back would go out. I saw chiropractors, and they provided minor temporary improvements. My doctor told me that I would require major surgery, which I did not want to do.

I have known Michael Moy since I was a small kiddo. My grandma would receive treatment from him, then my mom, and I have also received treatment. From my teenage years up until now (I will be 40 next year), Michael has helped me with a wide variety of ailments.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
