Why Acupuncture For Natural Health is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ietary intake and emotional stress. This treatment is tailored specifically to each individual. Acupuncture, herbal treatment, supplements, dietary consult, tuina massage, acupressure, aromatherapy, electro-stimulation, cupping, gua-sha,…” source →

Booking your cupping session

  • Session price around $140 a session — confirm current pricing and whether cupping is standalone or added to a massage/acupuncture visit
  • Payment reportedly accepts insurance — verify coverage before your visit, since cupping is often billed under manual therapy or acupuncture
  • Walk-ins walk-ins welcome — but calling ahead is safest for a cupping appointment

From the reviews

I 💜 Tumi! From the moment you walk in and inhale the calming aroma of healing in the waiting room, to the yummy cup of tea she makes for me after my session, I’m glad my friend gave me her as a referral for my many health issues.

★★★★★ — M., Mar 2023

Truly one of the best cupping/massage treatments I've received. I attended 10 visits with Emily who was effective in relieving back pain, arm pain and was so kind. I recommend 100% to go to her for any sort of muscle discomfort you are experiencing.

★★★★★ — Sarah, Sep 2022

Amazing treatment! I’ve always been a little wary of getting acupuncture but Tumi listed to my concerns and has used a very light touch. She’s helped me with both chronic issues (which aren’t so chronic anymore) as well as occasional flare ups.

★★★★★ — Krish, Mar 2023

Tumi is AMAZING! She has helped me time and again, helping with detoxification, hormonal issues, and stress reduction. Each visit has resulted in significant relief and relaxation. Tumi is so passionate about her work and really values her clients.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
