From the reviews

Truly the kindest, most genuine provider I have *ever* encountered in healthcare. I feel like she truly cares about me and she and her husband treat me like family. Dr. Lisa is a highly respected and skilled practitioner. My blood pressure has been high for the last 11 years.

I want to thank the amazing Dr and her husband for today. It was my mom's birthday and they opened special just for us! Not only that they brought my mom a BEAUTIFUL orchid plant... Prior to coming to see them my mom couldn't even walk, after one treatment today she literally walked around the office and cried.

Dr. Lisa (Yuehui Li) Zhou L.Ac., MD (China) I have to say that this woman is an amazing doctor! I have had only 3 acupuncture treatments and my whole body feels better than it did!! Chinese Medicine has helped me more in 2 weeks than American medicine in 7 years!

★★★★★ — Joshua, Jul 2017

Five stars aren’t enough for not only the effectiveness of treatment but the kindness of Dr Lisa and Dr Joe. Acupuncture takes time and if you can just be patient your life will be changed. I struggled with hormonal but also lasting issues from surgeries that had I chronic pain from among several other health issues.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
