I heard of this place from my mom who is undergoing chemotherapy. The chemo causes her to loose a lot of sensation in her extremeties and a lot of body aches. After she started coming here for acupuncture therapy, she started getting sensation back and being able to sleep better.
If your body needs some TLC, you need to come here. I travel for work and my neck, shoulder and back were very stiff for months. I had very limited mobility and was in pain. After 8 treatments, my body feels so much better and my mobility has improved immensely. I love that everything you need is in one place!
Well this review is long overdue. Short version: calm setting, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, great pricing. if you're considering trying acupuncture (or cupping, or need a massage) I 100% recommend going here immediately.
From the second I walked in this place had my heart! Incense, relaxing music, chimes, bells, a dog, tea... ugh H-E-A-V-E-N! Staff was so nice I felt like if I had known them forever! I was offered these delicious silky pants to help relax and make me more comfortable...
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
