What clients say about the cupping here
“I got terrific treatment here for back pain and neck pain on two different occasion.”
“I don’t say this lightly, but Ted is a healer in every sense of the word and is the most gifted, skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner and person there is.”
From the reviews
Ted is a knowledgable practitioner and a compassionate man of medicine. He does his best to help you find the cause of your ailments and teach you how to take care of yourself. He is also honest. If he believes another specialist would be of more use to a patient, he will tell them upfront.
This review is a year late (due to an IVF and pregnancy journey where my acupuncture support needed to be paused) and it’s been burning a hole in my psyche given how deserved and needed it is.
Ted is very detail oriented and always listens. He makes positive suggestions. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend his services.
Can not say enough great things about Ted and the center. Made me headache free after more then 10 years of suffering. Still pain free 11 tears later!!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
