I saw Manju starting mid 2024, after my fertility doctor recommended acupuncture during an incomplete IVF cycle to help increase the number of mature eggs. Through my sessions with Manju, I learned that acupuncture also helped manage the anxiety I experienced throughout the process.
My name is Jennifer Barlow and I am a new amputee (you can search my story on google, it went international). I was suffering from SEVERE and INTENSE phantom limb pains that would not go away using any method other than high dosage of pain medication.
Cannot recommend Manju enough for women’s health and post cancer support. I came to the practice newly in remission after undergoing surgery, chemo and radiation for breast cancer. Manju has helped with energy, fatigue and sleep issues, extreme joint and muscle pain, and menopause symptoms.
I started coming here on June 6th for a consult referral from the VA Medical Center. However, I picked this location and Manjusha Ladha. She has helped me with my chronic pain (headache, neck, shoulders, and back). She has also treated my concussion. She is very attentive and caring. I am so happy I came here.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
