Both my wife & I have been under Dr. Nguyen's care on multiple occasions. As a medical practitioner myself, I am very discerning of who I will allow to treat me or my family. Dr. Nguyen's credentials, knowledge & skills are impeccable.
Dr. Nguyen is awesome. My back went out while picking up a $1 water bottle. SMH. I found this place and decided to visit based on the reviews. He did not disappoint. His attitude is great. He is very knowledgeable and his therapy helped me regain my back strength faster than I have in the past.
Dr. Nguyen is truly a blessing. He is the only doctor who really took the time to find real solutions for my health instead of trying to push products for ne to buy. At one point I could barely walk and my MRI showed a bulged and herniated disc with a pinched nerve.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
