From the reviews
Cynthia is the real thing. She has an exceptional instinct for finding tension. She found every knot and line of tension in my neck, traps, and back instantly, and her acupuncture + cupping work was targeted and effective. The placement, pressure, and results were exactly right for the issues I came in with.
Amazing service! I received acupuncture for plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis which had practically been debilitating. After a few treatments I could walk again and go back to work even. Super kind and compassionate providers. Cynthia's acupuncture was excellent and catered to my needs. Would highly recommend.
I've had three acupuncture treatments from Cynthia and plan on continuing. She blends the latest technology with healing experience, not mention her joyful attitude. I highly recommend her services.
Cynthia has been a lifesaver. She has helped me keep going in spite of arthritis of my knees and hips and shoulders. She also helped me after my hand surgery.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
