If you’ve ever considered trying Acupuncture but never pulled the trigger, now is the time! I had my first experience today with Matt and it was amazing! He explained everything he did, explained to me how it works and why. I am so glad I finally tried it!
I’d recommend Matt in a heartbeat. I went to him for frozen shoulder pain that just would not let up. I had already been to multiple doctors and tried every pain product on Amazon. Matt has truly been a game-changer for my frozen shoulder. I went in with constant pain and very limited movement.
My experience with Matt has been one of the best! He is professional in nature, listens to all concerns and has made adjustments to my treatment as needed. He is flexible with scheduling and goes above and beyond to ensure I am laying comfortably during my sessions. Cannot recommend Matt enough!
I can’t say enough good things about Matt Beeman. I was hesitant to try acupuncture for neck pain, but after just a couple of sessions, I noticed a real difference. The space at Acupuncture and Integrative Wellness is so calming, and Matt’s skill and care make every visit a great experience.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
