From the reviews

I was suffering from weekly migraines and painful, itchy, hives, that constantly covered most of my body for 7 months. I went to 4 different Drs, including an allergist and a dermatologist. no one could help me. finally I made an appointment with Dr Carlow. He is amazing very thorough, and knowledgeable.

★★★★★ — Rachel, Jan 2021

I can not give enough thanks and appreciation to Chris for everything he did to help me heal! I was experiencing an extreme amount of pain in my lower back after child birth to the point that i was debilitated. Thank God for my strong and loving husband!

★★★★★ — Sarah, Jan 2025

I started seeing Dr. Carlow for chronic lower back pain that got worse one day and left me unable to work or do any physical activity. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his consultation figuring out the roots to all the issues I was having.

★★★★★ — Robert, Mar 2025

I suffered from neck issues for years, cortisone shots stopped working and surgery was not an option. I finally found Dr. Carlow and I can not believe what acupuncture has done for my health. Not only is the pain relieved but I have more energy and generally feel so much better.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
