From the reviews
Dr. Ramani is beyond a traditional chiropractor: he is a true holistic healer. After suffering from debilitating headaches for months (despite medical treatment) I decided to give him a try since he accepted my insurance. I am so happy to have found him. He takes time with each patient to diagnose the problem.
I wish I would have found Dr. Ramani sooner! I have suffered from neck/shoulder pain for years but I never found a chiropractor I trusted until now. Dr. Ramani isn’t overly aggressive in his chiropractic adjustments. He listens, he tweaks his approach based on your input, and he teaches you stretches to do at home.
Active Sport & Spine Therapy has an incredible team that has been absolutely instrumental! Dr. Ramani is fantastic—he listens attentively, takes the time to thoroughly answer questions, and shares deep expertise that empowers both patients and his staff to succeed.
I’ve been coming here for a few weeks for neck pain, and I’m finally seeing real progress. The first thing you notice is how clean and modern the office is—it’s a great environment that makes you feel comfortable right away. Hector (Physical Therapist) and Daniella (Acupuncturist) are incredible.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
