From the reviews

I highly recommend Achieve Physical. Julie is an outstanding Doctor of Physical Therapy. She has helped me work through issues with my back and shoulders with the use of assisted stretching, dry needling, cupping, massage, and exercise and self stretching and strengthening exercises customized for my specific needs.

★★★★★ — Dave, Aug 2025

I cannot recommend Achieve, particularly Julie, more. I left a care facility barely able to stand, definitely not able to walk. With her teaching and kind but firm methods, I was very motivated to work hard when she wasn't there just to make her proud when she was.

★★★★★ — Edward, Nov 2025

Holding a doctorate in PT, Julie is a caring and talented physical therapist, who has a wealth of knowledge around injury and activity restoration. She is attentive and truly works to find best ways to help eliminate physical pain and achieve full recovery.

★★★★★ — Jeanene, Jun 2026

I had an amazing experience being treated by Julie for hand and forearm pain. She is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and truly listens. From the very first visit, she took the time to understand what was going on and explained everything clearly.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
