From the reviews
Avoid a large overcrowded PT environment. APR is just the right size offering focused and individual attention. The administrative staff is friendly and organized; the PT staff is affable and skilled. I look forward to my visits and meeting other clients which is encouraging and motivational. - Gail C.
APR is a fantastic place to go for physical therapy! The quality of care is excellent! The physical therapists listen carefully to your concerns, and work hard to address your issues. They explain everything so that you understand your treatment and work with you as a partner to achieve the very best outcome.
I started here about a month ago with chronic thoracic pain. I have been working with Olivia who has been amazing listening and catering my rehab to my specific needs. I can’t say enough good things about her and this physical therapy center. Also the rest of the staff here is so polite and personable.
OMGosh,... can't give enough compliments to the staff at APR. Dave was attentive, specific and successful at encouraging my grandson to work tirelessly on his rehab exercises beyond his appointment time. Joey was just as encouraging. The front desk staff is pleasant and accommodating.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
