From the reviews
I went to Dr. Hogan for about six months while doing IVF, and I couldn’t recommend her enough. I loved that she uses just a few needles, much less than my previous acupuncturist, which helped me feel calm instead of anxious.
I just completed 12 sessions of acupuncture with Dr. Hogan & I can honestly say I am now a firm believer in acupuncture. I found Dr.Hogan's practice by accident & was convinced she was the right person to see for my back pain. Her 5-star reviews prompted me to call & make an immediate appointment.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dr. Hogan is truly exceptional. I’ve tried several acupuncturists and physical therapists over the years, but no one has achieved the kind of results she has. Her approach combines traditional acupuncture with precise dry needling, and the difference is remarkable. Dr.
I can’t recommend Absolute Qi Acupuncture and Wellness Center highly enough. When I first started treatment with Dr. Hogan, I was dealing with excruciating lower back pain from a herniated disc—daily life was genuinely difficult.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
