From the reviews

I'll leave an extensive review as I've noticed at the time of writing, there was only 1 on google for the Touch of Health, which i think is an injustice to this place. If you've never been - you owe yourself to try it at least once for a proper therapeutic massage.

Elena has provided great levels of healing for my wife through myofascial release in a holistic approach to back, shoulders and legs. Special focus was always given to old sports injury areas !!

★★★★★ — Hans, Dec 2023

My massages at A Touch Of Health have been transformative. I run 6 days a week in addition to cross training & Elena’s therapeutic massages have been so beneficial in eliminating muscle soreness, tightness & injury. Flushing lactic acid from tissue, muscles & fascia keeps me injury free & on the roads.

Elena is an extraordinary masseuse! In just a few visits, I have gotten more thorough pain relief for my back than I even knew was possible. I have done a lot of physical therapy for my posture, and while it was beneficial for building strength, I have still struggled with ongoing pain, very tight muscles, and trouble…

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
