From the reviews
All I can say is Anca is simply amazing!! I’ve been struggling with severe knee pain for two months with the hopes of it improving with PT. Well in just one session she managed to not only get rid of my pain but for the first time in 2 months I could walk normal (no limp) and climb stairs without issues.
This was my first ever acupuncture treatment. From the first moment I walked in the door until I left, I felt that I was in the hands of someone I could trust 100%. The appointment began on time and the waiting room and treatment rooms were very comfortable. The necessary paperwork was handled very professionally.
Anca is amazing. I truly think she has a magic wand in her office! I have been dealing with sciatica for the past month and have tried everything. The day before my first treatment at A.M Acupuncture I was in so much pain for spasms I had gone to the ER.
From the moment I entered, the office had a soothing atmosphere, and the receptionist was both professional and attentive. I recently received acupuncture from Dr. Marinescu to address my chronic lower back and shoulder pain. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive due to the titanium plate in my back, but Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
